In addition to his work in the kitchen, Nils Henkel is also a successful author. In 2010, his first cookbook Pure Nature was published by Fackelträger Verlag and was awarded a silver medal by GAD. In 2021, his second cookbook Flora is published with his vegetarian dishes and is honored with a gold medal from the Gastronomische Akademie at the Frankfurt Book Fair in 2022. In 2023, the Flora book is again awarded a gold medal by the Swiss Gourmet Book Award.
